For the 2007/2008 race season, ALL Junior class racers age 14 – 15 will only be allowed to race up to a 600cc Fan Cooled and or 500cc Liquid cooled race sled. These classes will not be allowed to run the new 600cc Liquid cooled race sleds as per the ISR rules for Junior class racing.

In all other SNOX classes the CC limit for the Stock Classes will be raised to 600cc from the 500cc limit .

Alyeska Update! 4/21/2008
There will be a Vintage race in conjunction with the Sno-x Race on May 3rd. This will be a first but we've had an overwhelming request to include a Vintage race. We will attempt to leave enough room beside the Sno-X track to allow Vintage racers the option to by-pass or use the jump. Classes for this event have yet to be determined and will depend on the turn out. This will be a trophy class with $50 entry fee. All vintage snowmobiles must have a functional tether cord!!!

The Alyeska races would not be possible this year without great sponsors like CC Ski-Doo, AMDS, Monster, and Anchorage Chrysler. Please send them your thanks and business. The Day Lodge has plenty of openings left for vendors. Our event conflicts with the upcoming Alaska Airmen show so many vendors are already committed but if know of a vendor who would like to join us please pass the word and have them contact us.

Alyeska Motor Madness May 2-4 is going to be a weekend of great racing and much more. The excitement begins with the Hill Climb May 2nd, Sno-X May 3rd, and finishing with the Hill-X on May 4th. We're also having a vintage show and shine contest for those who want to show off their vintage sleds. The Day Lodge will be available for vendors and we are currently soliciting for vendors who want to take advantage of this great advertising opportunity. Vendor slots will be available both inside and outside of the Day Lodge. If you know of any vendors who would like to get in on the ground floor of this event please have them call Mel Grove @ 440-9148. Additionally for those who want to sell their tired iron, we are having a snowmobile swap meet each day of the event for only $25/day. More details will come so please check back frequently for more details.

Get your buisness recognized at our three day action packed annual event, Alyeska Motor Madness! With your particpation and our racing action we plan to bring 1-2000 spectors daily to join in the action or just watch the madness. Our event has always been a great crowd pleaser and adding vendors to the show will make for an even greater success.
