GOLD RUSH CLASSIC VINTAGE SNO GO RACE

BIG LAKE, ALASKA

In conjunction with the start of this year’s Tesoro Irondog, AMMC will hold a Vintage snowmobile race. Here’s your chance to bring out that sled from behind the garage or in the woods and show it off. This is designed to be a fun event for both racers and spectators.

Rules:

Entry fee for all classes will be $25.00

All machines and motors must have been built prior to 1979

Must have a working tether switch and snow flap

Drivers must wear a helmet and goggles or face shield

Machine must have visible numbers for identification

Trophies will be awarded for 1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd place in each class

Classes:

0-400cc Single Cylinder

0-440cc Free Air or Fan Cooled

0-600cc Open

Drivers will start at least 10’ behind his/her machine, when the flag drops they will run to the machine, get it started and take off. The course will be determined just prior to race day but is planned to be approx. 2 miles in length with 80% of the course on the lake surface. The race will involve 5 laps for a total of 10 miles.
